Once modelling activities have reached a level of abstraction that is optimal for implementation, we build a
so-called reference implementation. It typically implements all the concepts used in the "outermost" modelling layer. This
implementation is performed like a classic development task and with the technologies currently in use at our customers.
Therefore, we can accommodate almost any legacy technology or legacy product configuration and still retain all the benefits
of modern modelling techniques. The actual automation facility is based on so-called implementation templates, the
fragments of the implementation that map individual modelling concepts to the final result.
